Skærmbillede 2017-08-02 kl. 16.04.25.png

Hello, world.
There is officially only 4 days left before my school starts. That means a lot of mental panic and excitement. Personally, I love buying school supplies, but this year I kind of lost my excitement for school supplies. I’m starting in the Danish gymnasium which is different from what I had tried before. So I’m really scared but at the same time excited. I’ll promise to update about my school journey. But for now, I’ll show you my back to school checklist. Here we go.

  1. Buy a pencil case (this one most be more adult like)
  2. Buy a calendar and add the important dates (like exams, special events or anything like that)
  3. Mental preparing for school starting.
  4. Wash and prepare my school bag.
  5. Get back to school sleeping routine.
  6. Try to learn where my class is located (in Denmark you usually only have one main classroom)
  7. Update my bus card for the school season (that is really pricey cost about 58$ each month)
  8.  Pick an outfit for the first day (let’s be honest after the first day you don’t care about outfits anymore)
  9. Prepare the summer anecdotes (not that’s anything special to tell)
  10. Clean my computer and delete my old stuff in it (I have a lot of not important files)
  11. Find my ear phones and actually remember to take them to school (I’m the only one who forgets them every time)
  12. Set realistic goals for the year.
  13. Try to be open minded as possible (I mean try to find some really nice friends)
  14. Camping equipment (guess who is going to spend the first week of school camping)
  15. Clean my sneakers (I don’t know about you but clean sneaker is a clean beginning)
  16. Make a study playlist on Spotify (a playlist that I don’t get distracted by while making homework)
  17. Give a good first impression to the teachers and students.
  18. Make an emergency kit with everything needed in (I’m a girl everything can happen)
  19. Clean and prepare my bike (if I miss the bus)
  20. Remember to enjoy the last free days of the summer.

I hope you liked. Write a comment down below when you are starting school this year.

Hello, world.

1. Black jeans.
No matter of where you get it, black jeans is always a good idea. I will recommend buying jeans from actual stores because you need to wear them and feel the quality physically before you buying them. H&M, Doctor Denim or Levi’s has some good quality jeans.

Back to School – Hacks

Skærmbillede 2017-07-22 kl. 15.12.48.png

Hello, world.
There are less than 2 weeks left before my school starts. I know it’s horrible how quickly the summer has ended. But the beginning of a new semester can be refreshing sometimes. Personally, I’m starting on something called Danish gymnasium. It’s like High School but only takes 3 years.
Here are some back to school life hacks.

1. Grammarly.
Grammarly is the best help for writing essays, notes or something else. You can download it on your computer or your phone. The app correct for spelling and recommend other writing options. It’s very helpful.

2. Wake up early.
I know it’s harder than it seems like, but it’s a really good help. Starting your day with a lot of energy and time can really make a difference. So wake up early, have your outfit prepared and just take time.

3. The Pomodoro method.
The method is easy and effective. I personally didn’t believe in it first, but after trying the method a couple of times it actually worked. So why not give it a try.

4. Schedule on the lock screen.
Starting a new semester can be hard enough without remembering your schedule. So until you had memorized your schedule use a picture of your schedule as lock screen picture.

5. Photomath.
Guess we all had tried to solve a hard math question. So instead download the app Photomath. Take a picture of your math question and the question will be solved with an explanation.

6. Essay hack to make it longer.
If you need to fill your essay more but have no ideas I got you. Just do what the picture tells you.

Skærmbillede 2017-07-22 kl. 14.42.41.png

7. Water bottle.
While you are presenting keep a water bottle near you. When you can’t remember what to say, take a drink of your water bottle. It will give you time for thinking about what to say.

8. Morning playlist.
Make a playlist of songs. The time the playlist takes is the time you have before going to school.  Then you know how long time you have.
Skærmbillede 2017-07-22 kl. 14.55.27.png

9. Sitting in the front.
In school try to always sit in the front of your teacher. Your teacher will most likely remember and like you more. Sitting in the front gives an image of dedication and hard work.

10. The best time for studying.
Follow this schedule for studying. You will soon realize it’s true.

Hope you enjoyed. Comment down below when you are starting in school. I’m starting 7th of August.

My travel journal – Tips and DIY

Hello world.
Today i really want to show my travel journal. I’m long away from finishing the journal, but I wanted to show a little bit. Btw the journal text is in danish, so you might not understand the text in the journal.

The first pages is empty because i didn’t knew how to start. Maybe i just makes an index or something. On the black page i have wrote a quote “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.” I thought it was an inspiring quote so why not.

The first trip was a school trip to Berlin, Germany. We were about 100+ students from Denmark. It was really funny and it was an educational experience. We saw things like Brandenburger Tor, Alexanderplatz and so many other things. I can really recommend Berlin. We lived in a hostel called One80, that wasn’t bad. We saw Sachsenhausen as well,  if you don’ know it’s a concentration camp that was used under the second world war. Of course we saw the famous Wall of Berlin. Berlin is really an amazing city.
In my travel journal, I had put some pictures and wrote a bit information about the trip.

The journal have the route to Berlin as well. It took about 6 hours to drive to Berlin from Denmark.

The second trip was to Oslo, Norway. The good thing about Denmark is that a lot of different countries there is close. So you easily visit those places. My family and I went to Oslo. We was on a cruise from Denmark to Norway. It was a long trip, it toke about 18 hours. Even throw Norway is pretty close to Denmark, but I swear the view was breathtaking. Specially wake up early before the sunrise and watch the beautiful fjords Norway is famous for. Oslo city was great as well, but it was quite expensive. Well all of the Scandinavian countries are bit expensive. Honestly it was in January and the weather was so cold. There was about -10 degrees. It was perfect weather for a cup of hot chocolate.

Yeah there is some awkward pictures of my family and friends and I. But traveling with your family is about taking awkward pictures with your family.

In the end of the journal I have draw a world map. The green marks are places I have been. Hopefully there will come more green marks. img_0102.jpg

It was all for this time. Hope you enjoyed my post. I’m done with the journal, so maybe there will come an update. Maybe it will give some inspirations and I really recommend starting a travel journal. It is a good way to remember your adventures. Thank you for reading.
