Back to School – Checklist

Skærmbillede 2017-08-02 kl. 16.04.25.png

Hello, world.
There is officially only 4 days left before my school starts. That means a lot of mental panic and excitement. Personally, I love buying school supplies, but this year I kind of lost my excitement for school supplies. I’m starting in the Danish gymnasium which is different from what I had tried before. So I’m really scared but at the same time excited. I’ll promise to update about my school journey. But for now, I’ll show you my back to school checklist. Here we go.

  1. Buy a pencil case (this one most be more adult like)
  2. Buy a calendar and add the important dates (like exams, special events or anything like that)
  3. Mental preparing for school starting.
  4. Wash and prepare my school bag.
  5. Get back to school sleeping routine.
  6. Try to learn where my class is located (in Denmark you usually only have one main classroom)
  7. Update my bus card for the school season (that is really pricey cost about 58$ each month)
  8.  Pick an outfit for the first day (let’s be honest after the first day you don’t care about outfits anymore)
  9. Prepare the summer anecdotes (not that’s anything special to tell)
  10. Clean my computer and delete my old stuff in it (I have a lot of not important files)
  11. Find my ear phones and actually remember to take them to school (I’m the only one who forgets them every time)
  12. Set realistic goals for the year.
  13. Try to be open minded as possible (I mean try to find some really nice friends)
  14. Camping equipment (guess who is going to spend the first week of school camping)
  15. Clean my sneakers (I don’t know about you but clean sneaker is a clean beginning)
  16. Make a study playlist on Spotify (a playlist that I don’t get distracted by while making homework)
  17. Give a good first impression to the teachers and students.
  18. Make an emergency kit with everything needed in (I’m a girl everything can happen)
  19. Clean and prepare my bike (if I miss the bus)
  20. Remember to enjoy the last free days of the summer.

I hope you liked. Write a comment down below when you are starting school this year.

Back to School – Hacks

Skærmbillede 2017-07-22 kl. 15.12.48.png

Hello, world.
There are less than 2 weeks left before my school starts. I know it’s horrible how quickly the summer has ended. But the beginning of a new semester can be refreshing sometimes. Personally, I’m starting on something called Danish gymnasium. It’s like High School but only takes 3 years.
Here are some back to school life hacks.

1. Grammarly.
Grammarly is the best help for writing essays, notes or something else. You can download it on your computer or your phone. The app correct for spelling and recommend other writing options. It’s very helpful.

2. Wake up early.
I know it’s harder than it seems like, but it’s a really good help. Starting your day with a lot of energy and time can really make a difference. So wake up early, have your outfit prepared and just take time.

3. The Pomodoro method.
The method is easy and effective. I personally didn’t believe in it first, but after trying the method a couple of times it actually worked. So why not give it a try.

4. Schedule on the lock screen.
Starting a new semester can be hard enough without remembering your schedule. So until you had memorized your schedule use a picture of your schedule as lock screen picture.

5. Photomath.
Guess we all had tried to solve a hard math question. So instead download the app Photomath. Take a picture of your math question and the question will be solved with an explanation.

6. Essay hack to make it longer.
If you need to fill your essay more but have no ideas I got you. Just do what the picture tells you.

Skærmbillede 2017-07-22 kl. 14.42.41.png

7. Water bottle.
While you are presenting keep a water bottle near you. When you can’t remember what to say, take a drink of your water bottle. It will give you time for thinking about what to say.

8. Morning playlist.
Make a playlist of songs. The time the playlist takes is the time you have before going to school.  Then you know how long time you have.
Skærmbillede 2017-07-22 kl. 14.55.27.png

9. Sitting in the front.
In school try to always sit in the front of your teacher. Your teacher will most likely remember and like you more. Sitting in the front gives an image of dedication and hard work.

10. The best time for studying.
Follow this schedule for studying. You will soon realize it’s true.

Hope you enjoyed. Comment down below when you are starting in school. I’m starting 7th of August.

Hello, world.

1. Model Undercover – Carina Axelson
This book series is about the girl Axelle, who are trying to bring the truth to the spotlight. While solving crimes she goes undercover as a model. The reason why it’s a good summer series, is because of the traveling and exploring new places. Great vacation summer book series.

2. Talon – Julie Kagawa
This book series deserves more atttention. The series is about dragons who are hiding in human form. So the series follows the girl Ember. Ember is going to spend her last time as a free dragon with her twin brother Dante. They are spending their summer close to the beach. So if you like a more fantasy/summer book series this is a great example.

3. The lonely hearts travel club – Katy Colins
This book is all about summer, vacation and traveling. Georgia is a heartbroken girl who are tired of being boring, so she decide to go on a impulsive vacation to Thailand. The book is a lot about being free as a independent women. I really enjoyed reading the books and got into a summer mood.

4. Shadow Falls – C.C Hunter
This book series is about a summercamp, but a supernatual summercamp. Kylie a on a camp for troubled teens, but she soon realise the camp is full of paranormal teenagers Vampires, werewolfs, pixies and so many other kinds of paranormal people. The book series is so good, after reading I really wanted to go on a summer camp. I recommend this book to fantasy/love/summer lovers.

5. Percy Jackson – Rick Riorda
This book series is absolute fantastic. The book series is about Percy Jacson, who are diffrently special. He soon find him self in a summer camp for demi gods. So the book series is just about summer, friendship, love, adventure, hardships and fantasy. If you liked the series try other of Rick Riordan’s books.

6. Anne from Green Gables – L.M Montgomery
This book series is a classic and a must to read. The books is about a red haired girl named Anne. The book is from 1908 so it’s a beautiful and poetic story. I really loved the series and the writing is so amazing. I really recommend this book to everyone.

7. The Selection – Kiera Cass
This book series is every girls dream. Following the girl named America Singer who are in a competition for marrying the prince. I love the characters and the storyline, the storyline is simple but amazing. It’s just a book series you will finish in no time.

8. To all the boys i’ve ever loved before – Jenny Han
This book series is so sweet. The book series follows the girl named Lara Jean who had wrote letters to all boys she ever had loved. one day her father mistakely sends the letters. I won’t reveal more, but just read. It’s so sweet.

9. The sisterhood of the traveling pants – Ann Brashares
This book series is about summer, friendship, love, travel and family. Everything summer is about are in these books. I already added this to my summer books list, but it deserves to be here too. The story is about 4 best friends who are spending their summer away from each other.

10. Delirum – Lauren Oliver
This book is just good and lovely. In an alternative world love is an ilnesss. An everyone wants to be cured, but before Lena gets cured she fall in love in Alex.
